Since June 2015, I've been a part of the mobile engineering team at Khan Academy. It's a terrific place, and I'm honored to get to work with such wonderful people towards helping others learn!

Before joining Khan Academy, I helped start Starbucks' mobile design team (2012-2015). We shipped the Passbook integration; redesigned the iOS app; grew a team to design for iOS, Android, and the web; we were a launch-day partner for the Apple Watch; and prototyped some pretty neat retail-plus-mobile service designs! My main project was to design the Mobile Ordering service.

Outside of work, I've built a few apps of my own. Jesse and I built Blixt for App.net, and have a handful of semi-finished side projects we're poking around with. I got my start with iOS design and development creating Threadnote in 2011 with my buddy Ryan.

Before all of that, I was a member of Deloitte Digital in San Francisco from 2010 to 2012, where I designed two large eCommerce web projects and created several iOS apps and prototypes. I’ve also interned for a handful of startups in the Bay Area during college.

My undergraduate and Master’s degrees are in Industrial Engineering, a mix of statistical analysis, operations management, and business.
